This project, which we are implementing, is addressing significant problems being faced by the Polish Labour Market, such as social exclusion, skill gaps and the quality of human resources, with special emphasis on women. The programme is intended to assist the accession process in the field of employment policy as well as strengthen the administrative capacities of central authorities and local service providers to implement ESF programmes after the accession. Specifically, the programme will help promote employability, adaptability, entrepreneurship and equal opportunities.
The project is aimed at facilitating re-entry of long-term unemployed women (those without a job for more than 12 months) into the labour market, especially those wishing to return to work after maternity leave. It will provide the target group with a range of integrated training and guidance services developing professional capabilities of beneficiaries and helping them to obtain the new positions in the labour market.
Services will include identification of the situation of the target group organisation of the training courses as well as providing guidance and job broking services. All activities are to be adjusted to the individual predisposition and expectations of the participants.
The services under the measure will be integrated, comprehensive and innovative. It is intended to obtain added value from the present EU funded project by way of imparting new and more effective approaches. Particular attention will be placed on methodology throughout and implementing a strengthened monitoring/evaluation system in such a way as to achieve enhanced learning and capacity building from the project.
Through the implementation of this programme, it is expected that the results will include a higher level of employability among women in the areas covered by the project as well as increased public awareness with regards to the importance of equal opportunities on the labour market and undertaking positive actions for women on the labour market.
