All our Health and Safety Experts are highly experienced scientists, technologists and engineers; a significant number being former H M Inspectors or Environmental Health officers, experienced in investigation of accidents, claims and occupational health problems.
WYG experts are trained in the Role of the Expert and the requirements of the Civil Procedure Rules and are able to act as independent experts for either claimant or defendant, or as single joint expert. Our experts are aware that once an action is commenced in a civil case they are bound by Rule 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules 1999, that their overriding duty is to the court to help on matters within their expertise, and that this duty overrides their obligation to the person instructing them or paying them.
