Structural Integrity

We design and test the structural integrity of the façade, focusing on buildability, corrosion potential, safety and sustainability. We apply various modelling and simulation techniques to assess suitablity of façade and cladding systems at an early stage. We also review the manufacturing process and on site errection and quality control testing of facades.

Thermal Performance

We design and test the thermal performance of the facade. We use dynamic modelling to predict and calculate the effects of external climatic factors including solar, ambient temperature and wind. We assess potential for employing passive and low-energy measures to achieve comfort conditions.

Visual Performance

We use visual simulation and modelling techniques to predict and visualise interior and exterior effects of façade systems. This enables us to review both positive and negative visual issues associated with a design solution accordingly.

Acoustic Performance

Noise levels within buildings is of increasing concern to developers and end users. We apply careful consideration to acoustic performance of the building façade and use the latest noise mapping and prediction software as required.
