White Young Green (WYG) undertakes site management and supervision of contracting organisations and individuals in the delivery of projects in the rail industry including civil and structural engineering, building services, permanent way, enhancements and traction power.

WYG’s site managers / resident engineers have many years of rail experience and manage construction activity such that all work is undertaken in accordance with industry safety requirements and that the client obtains the quality of construction required by drawings and specifications within the prescribed programme and budget.

On larger sites, site managers are supported by experienced Works Supervisors/Clerks of Works or Inspectors who have in-depth knowledge of construction techniques and methodology and who ensure absolute control of safety and quality on site.

WYG provides a complete range of CDM Co-ordinator duties and gives expert advice on procedures and methodology for undertaking work adjacent to and gaining access onto the operational railway as well as Network Rail design approval process.

WYG is approved by Network Rail for planning and booking for access to work on the operational infrastructure under the PPS and GZAC procedures and RIMINI (Risk MINImisation) Planning.
