White Young Green (WYG) offers a complete range of design services related to railway station design and refurbishment. Its experience ranges from new station designs to upgrading works at major stations throughout the UK. Feasibility studies are regularly carried out for new stations or improvements to existing facilities such as extending platforms to increase capacity.

Improvements in disabled access to help operators meet new legislation is being carried out across the country by WYG’s multidisciplinary teams. The service extends from feasibility through to detailed design and from site survey to site management.

Depots

WYG’s engineers have extensive experience in depot new build, modernisation, and refurbishment schemes. Its multidisciplinary design teams have a range of engineering skills including civil/structural, drainage, permanent way, signalling, geotechnical, environmental and building services necessary to service this sector. Continuous feedback between WYG engineers on site and its design teams ensures that designs incorporate the benefits of buildability gained through extensive experience in the design and build sector.
