White Young Green (WYG) is a Link-Up accredited supplier of safety staff and labour supplying a range of staff up to and including Engineering Supervisor (ES) competency.

Rail Safety Training

As a Network Rail approved Sentinel training organisation, WYG provides individually tailored courses for certification and re-certification in the following areas:

  • PTS
  • IWA (Individual Working Alone)
  • COSS (Controller of Site Safety)
  • LO/SW (Lookout/Site Warden)
  • AOD (Hand Signaller)
  • PC (Protection Controller)
  • ES (Engineering Supervisor)

WYG can arrange all aspects of training and advice on medicals and drug screening to ensure minimum disruption to individuals work schedule. Advice can also be offered on the efficient management of the Sentinel scheme and of ‘sponsor’s’ responsibilities.

As an active member of the Association of On-Track Labour and Services (AOTLS) and the Association of Rail Training Providers (ARTP), WYG provides its clients with training in line with the latest safety procedures.

Rail Appreciation Courses

WYG has developed a suite of Rail Appreciation Courses to encourage new suppliers into the rail market with support in terms of gaining ‘railway knowledge’. 

Courses available include:

  • Railway Management Appreciation
  • An Introduction to Railway Terminology
  • An Introduction to Link-up Audit and the Sentinel Scheme
  • An Introduction to Railway Safety Roles and Responsibilities
  • First Aid (Nominated Person)
