WYG is an official speaker at the Sustainability Live! Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham (20-22 May 2008). Clare Shuttleworth, Associate Director for WYG Future (in association with HSBC) will be speaking at the event on the carbon impact of new and existing building stock and providing practical tips for optimizing energy performance and managing real estate from a carbon reduction perspective.

Clare is the Associate Director of WYG Future and has managed and contributed to many sustainability and environmental projects throughout the UK. She is a qualified BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, and CEEQUAL Assessor and is an appointed Waste minimisation auditor on the DTI funded Envirowise programme. Clare is experienced in providing strategic and project sustainable design advice services, developing strategies to mitigate and manage sustainability impacts associated with the construction and operations of schemes. Other project experience includes working with the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew to assist them to address sustainable procurement, waste and energy issues and the provision of carbon footprinting, sustainable procurement and design and construction advisory services to a major UK retailer.
