WYG Send Frisbee Champion Flying - 1/2/2008

White Young Green (WYG), a consultant to the built, natural and social environment are sponsoring Ultimate Frisbee sensation, Sally Fraser in her quest to co-captain the Great British team to victory in the World Championships in Vancouver between the 2nd and 9th of August 2008.

Sally, an ecologist at WYG has played the sport, which boasts over 750,000 players worldwide and is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, for eight years.  Rigorous, home based training weekends, attendance at foreign tournaments and the costs of kit mean that there are significant financial and personal commitments required to participate in the sport.

In preparation for the championships, the Great British team is traveling to Finland, Switzerlandand the USA to compete against other leading European and North American teams.

By allowing Sally to take full advantage of the opportunity to pursue one of her personal goals at an elite level, WYG’s flexible, people-focused and diverse approach as an employer is clearly reflected.
