Poland’s Krystyna Gurbiel appointed Under Secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development - 10/1/2013
WYG Poland’s Krystyna Gurbiel has recently taken up office following appointment as Under Secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, Poland, where amongst other responsibilities, she will work closely with the European Commission.
Krystyna leaves WYG after six years where she was a director and advisor, with responsibility for a portfolio of evaluation, research, analysis, consultancy and training services for the public sector.
With a presence in Poland since 1999, WYG is headquartered in Warsaw and has offices in a number of key locations throughout the country. The business employs around 200 professionals with backgrounds in economics, law, sociology, engineering, employment and human resources advising public and private sector organisations on a range of socio-economic and infrastructure projects.
Andrzej Dziurdzik, Director of WYG Poland (pictured), said: ”We are disappointed to see Krystyna leave as she has played such an important role in the business over the last six years. I want to thank her for her dedication and service and to congratulate her on her much deserved success. We are immensely proud to have worked with Krystyna over the last few years.”
With a Master’s degree in Law, Krystyna previously held high profile positions in the Ministries of Economy and Labour, Regional Development and European Integration in Poland in addition to Board level posts in a number of private bodies. She joins a group of WYG alumni in places of note who remain connected and proud to be former WYG people.
