WYG has a strong track record of successful project work in Nigeria. In 2010/11 we had a turnover of £0.7m and by 2014, when we opened our office in Abuja, this had grown to £2.76m.
Though it is a fairly small office, most projects address pan-African issues and the team works closely with our other offices across sub-Saharan Africa and with the International Development team back in the UK. Adenike Omotoso, a skilled project analyst and business development executive, runs the office with support from a network of local associates providing specific business and project management skills.
The focus of work in Nigeria has traditionally been in the Public Financial Management sector, a scope which has since increased to include other sectors, not only in Nigeria, but across the broader West Africa region.
