We are delighted to announce new appointments to our planning teams in Leeds and Manchester. This is in response to rapidly expanding workloads, in particular in the residential, regeneration and commercial sectors.
Andrew Bradshaw has been appointed director to our Manchester planning team. The move brings the number of planners and urban designers in the Manchester office up to 20.
Andrew, who joins from Barratt Partnerships, is a chartered town planner with over 20 years’ experience of managing complex planning and regeneration projects as both a consultant and a developer. He is a specialist in residential planning and development and has extensive experience in securing and promoting strategic sites for new residential development to create successful and sustainable places.

Graham Connell has been appointed a Director, and Nathan Smith and Mike Ashworth have been appointed as Associate Directors, to our Leeds planning team, bringing the numbers there to 10.
Graham, who joins from Colliers, has been based in the Yorkshire region for over 35 years. He is a chartered town planner. His extensive experience, working for clients throughout the country, spans retail, residential, commercial and the sport and leisure sectors. He is an experienced Expert Witness.
Nathan will focus on developing the residential business throughout Yorkshire and the North East. Nathan, a chartered town planner who joins from Turley, has over 17 years’ experience in Yorkshire and the North East. He has acted for a wide range of landowners, land promoters and house-builders throughout the region. He has a particular specialism in five-year housing land supply analysis, with notable successes in Leeds, East Riding and Bassetlaw.
Mike, a chartered town planner who joins from Turley, has 16 years’ experience based in the Yorkshire and Humber region with experience of projects across the region, the North-East, North-West and the East Midlands. He has spent the last 10 years in private practice, advising a wide range of clients across a variety of development sectors. Mike has appeared as Expert Witness, promoting his clients’ interests at Public Inquiries and at Examinations in Public for a number of Local Plans.
