WYG is delighted to be sponsoring the Corps of Royal Engineers Technical Symposium which will be held on 28th-30th October at Brompton Barracks in Chatham.
Brompton Barracks Chatham is the Home of the Corps of Royal Engineers and the Royal School of Military Engineering which provides artisan engineer training to the Royal Engineers and the wider MOD. The Royal Engineers is responsible for all military construction supporting all three services, Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force throughout the world. The technical part of the Royal Engineers has professionally qualified chartered engineers and technicians who carry out the design and supervise the construction and maintenance of military infrastructure.
The two day event is expected to gather 120 technical Officers and Warrant Officers stationed throughout the world in order to update them both on technical matters and organisational and procedural changes within the Royal Engineers. There will be both internal Royal Engineer and external speakers and the two day will culminate in a formal dinner.
