The biggest British Construction Industry Awards ceremony to date took place this week (9 October) at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane where around 900 of the industry’s elite celebrated construction and engineering excellence.
Congratulations to colleagues in our Manchester office who are celebrating as they picked up The Prime Minister’s Better Public Building Award for the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) Business School and Student Hub project.
This project has previously won a number of awards including 'best large project in the North-West' from the Lancashire and Cheshire Branch of the Institution of Structural Engineers and a prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) award.
The MMU Business School and Student Hub project was designed by WYG’s engineering team in Manchester together with architects Fielden Clegg Bradley.
Anthony Fuller, Director who attended the ceremony to represent WYG said: ‘We are delighted to have won another award for the MMU project which demonstrates the continuing commitment of the Manchester team to delivering highly technical engineering solutions on complex structures.’
