WYG is pleased to announce the opening of their new rail signalling design office in Winckley Square, Preston. This move is a result of very significant growth in the comprehensive range of services White Young Green offers. The Rail Signalling section of WYG was established in July and is led by David Teasdel.
“This highly experienced team includes engineers from Africa, Asia and Australia: a sort of ‘United Nations’ of signalling” said the Associate Director. “The team’s skills range from scheme inception and development, through detailed design and implementation, to asset management.”
The team will be based in Preston, due to its geographically central location and excellent communications, but it is anticipated that expansion will enable additional coverage from existing Rail Offices nationwide, such as Croydon, York and Glasgow.
The addition of this skill is further evidence of WYG's commitment to providing a first-class Multi-Functional Rail Consultancy Service to all clients including Developers, Train/Freight Operating Companies, local authorities and all owners of rail infrastructure from preserved railways to Network Rail.
