White Young Green, the multi-disciplinary consultant to the built, natural and social environment has announced the acquisition of Malachi Cullen & Partners Ltd., a civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Athlone, Ireland.
Company Directors Malachi Cullen and Sean Connolly will be joining the WYG Engineering Management Team headed by Geoff O’Sullivan, Managing Director for Engineering in Ireland.
Commenting on the acquisition Malachi Cullen said:

Malachi Cullen & Partners Ltd19 strong team, established in 1987, has extensive experience in the design and supervision of a wide range of civil and structural construction projects across commercial, retail, residential, industrial and educational sectors with a mix of public and private sector clients.
Major projects include the recently completed Manor Mills Mixed Use Development in Maynooth; an ongoing programme of projects for Athlone Institute of Technology; Athlone Business Park; Lough Sheever Business Park in Mullingar; a recent extension for the Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone; Carrigglass Golf/Leisure and residential development in Longford; various development works for IDA Ireland Business and Technology Parks and various projects for surrounding Local Authorities.

The acquisition of Malachi Cullen & Partners Ltd. follows the completion last year of similar transactions involving Nolan Ryan Partnership, a quantity surveying and project management practice employing over 70 staff in Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny, Limerick and Waterford; the Farningham McCreadie Partnership, a leading town planning consultancy with offices in Belfast and Edinburgh and JC Warnock Consulting Engineers in Derry.
