WYG, consultants to the built, natural and social environment, has been appointed by the Department of Health (DoH) National Implementation Team (NIT) onto a framework of Consultants to provide independent consultancy services.
The DoH and NIT are delivering a National programme of Independent Treatment Centres (TC) to support the DoH commitment to increase the provision of routine surgical procedures. The TC programme will engage with the local NHS Trusts and the independent healthcare provider, in delivering additional surgical provision via a partnership arrangement.
This framework builds on the similar Estates Advisor role that WYG provides to the Healthcare Commission for the Private & Voluntary Healthcare registration process.
Clive Anderson, WYG Director comments:-
“This is an important commission for WYG as it places the business close to the Department of Health as ultimate client for this innovative procurement model. It also allows WYG to deliver support Consultancy Services in Partnership with Local NHS Trusts and the independent healthcare providers.”
