International multi-disciplinary consultant, WYG Group, has rewarded its talented employees for their dedication and commitment during an extremely challenging year for the company.
The top 10 winners were presented with their awards by the company’s chief executive, Paul Hamer, at a special ceremony in Leeds.
“Our people are the secret of our success. By harnessing their expertise we're consistently delivering value for clients on projects around the world,” said Paul.
“Given the economic climate, the last 12 months have been a challenge for us. Our continued focus is to be the best in all that we do and we recognise the valuable contribution of our talented, innovative and committed people who work across our business in helping us to achieve this goal,” he added.
The 10 award-winning categories were: Employee of the Year – Consulting Services, Employee of the Year – Business Services, Graduate of the Year, Best Technical Paper, Clientism (internal and external), Team of the Year, Prize for Quality / Excellence of Service, Excellence in Leadership, Internationalising WYG and Best Individual or Team Contribution towards Community Engagement.
The winners, from as far a field as Russia and Turkey, were presented with a certificate and a cheque for £1,000.
Unfortunately, Sandy Sutherland, winner of the Employee of the Year Award – Consulting Services, was unable to attend the ceremony to collect his award.
