Rebecca is an accredited built heritage specialist and heritage planner with over 15 years' experience in all areas of the sector. She is a Full Member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and a Chartered Town Planner.
Rebecca leads on built heritage for WYG’s Historic Environment Team from Bristol and manages a built heritage consultant based in Newcastle, providing national coverage for clients. Her principal roles are to prepare built heritage appraisals, assessments and heritage statements, and Environmental Statement chapters with particular focus on listed buildings, locally listed buildings and conservation areas.
She has particular expertise in development design and mitigation advice relating to consents and land allocations. She also has historic environment policy and heritage grant experience. Rebecca is skilled in the conservation of individual, and portfolios of, historic properties and in the preparation of conservation management plans. She is competent to undertake built heritage surveys and basic building recording to Historic England standards.
