Unlocking local potential for sustainable development
For more than two decades we have worked in transitional, fragile and conflict affected states implementing international development programmes and unlocking local potential.
Working in partnership with government and donor agencies, such as the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), European Union (EU), World Bank and African Development Bank, we provide creative advice and practical solutions in complex and highly uncertain environments. On projects around the world, we encourage social and economic reform through building capacity and enabling communication between governments, business and civil societies.
In strategic partnerships with these organisations, we are relied on to bring sustainable development to the lives of individuals living in the most deprived and challenging circumstances. With local development groups and with regional and national governments we work to strengthen society by creating businesses and jobs, and establishing community services.
Our work is founded on a thorough understanding of local needs and opportunities, coupled with the skills to design and implement effective programmes for increasing collective wealth, reducing poverty, improving education and promoting social inclusion.
