We connect communities, clients and commuters
Our transport capabilities enable economic growth and development by creating new transport links between communities and enabling effective transport into and around major urban developments. From transport masterplans and traffic strategies for new cities to roads and bridges, our 150-strong transport team brings together all the disciplines clients need to crystallise their visions and turn them into reality.
For over 15 years, we have managed and supported the delivery of some major projects and are currently active in Russia, Poland, the Western Balkans, Turkey, the Gulf States and Africa, as well as all over the UK.
In Georgia, we managed a US-funded programme designed to link the country’s poorest region with its capital, Tbilisi, via upgrading 220km of badly deteriorated road to international standards, cutting the journey time from eight hours to three and giving rural farmers access to new markets.
Our work at Wadi Al Asla, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia involves the masterplanning and design of all the transport infrastructure for a 170,000 person town being developed over the next 15-20 years by the Jeddah Development and Urban Regeneration Company.
We are delivering a €90m public transport scheme in Burgas, Bulgaria including design and implementation of bus stations and all the associated stations, service facilities, passenger information, eticketing and traffic signals for a new fleet of buses and trolley buses. We have also helped redesign several major rail stations associated with the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics as part of a long-term upgrade of Russia’s rail network.
