Eunica Aure Associate

Eunica is an economist with 13 years’ experience in applied research and economic policy analysis.  Her work has a strong focus on evaluating programmes that generate innovative financial products for governments and businesses and, partnerships that tackle impediments to inclusive growth in low- and middle-income countries. Eunica’s keys skills lie in

  • Research and evaluation: Mixed methods research, theory-based evaluation (contribution analysis), M&E systems technical assistance, VFM assessment
  • Economics: Economic and financial analysis, poverty measurement, competition and regulation
  • Sectors: climate resilience and finance, private sector development, energy, agriculture

At WYG Eunica is a Senior Evaluator for the Prosperity Fund – a cross-government £1.2 billion aid fund- mainly on financial services programmes. Her experience includes

  • Mixed methods approach in the evaluation of DFID Afghanistan’s Comprehensive Agriculture and Rural Development Facility (Phase 2)
  • Contribution analysis for the mid-term review of the DFID Nepal’s Accelerating Infrastructure and Investments Programme
  • Definition of Rural Vulnerability Index for Ethiopia’s agriculture sector for DANIDA and the Agriculture Transformation Agency
  • Assessment of portfolio-level MEL for the EU’s Rural Smallholder Component under the Sudan Food Security Programme and DFID Kenya Arid Lands Support Programme.
