Cumbria County Council has appointed WYG, alongside a host of other consultancies, to its £12m professional services framework.
The framework, expected to commence on 1st June, will initially span four years. The lots were split up by value into packages covering below £100,000 (Lot A) and work over £100,000 (Lot B).
Cumbria County Council provides a multitude of community functions and services based on community demand for growing services. We are thrilled to help support the council’s efforts to progress modern and efficient services for local communities.
We’re pleased to share that our regional team’s submission succeeded in the following lots:
Our technical and strategic consultancy teams will help inform the council and public-sector partners on property and infrastructure planning solutions, focussing on schools, highways, fire services, and wider asset management.
As part of that support, our team will also provide a variety of additional services, including planning development advice, maintenance management, environmental, energy efficiency, health & safety, pre-procurement development, work place planning and space optimisation, and more.
Brian Kirkbride, Associate Director at WYG, commented on our appointment: “It’s a privilege for us to be appointed to the Cumbria County Council Framework. They have a really important mission in this region and we look forward to supporting that with ongoing development and implementation of infrastructure and property management solutions for Cumbria’s communities.”
Craig Hatch, Divisional Director of Asset & Project Management at WYG, also commented: “We’re looking forward to extending our ongoing relationship with Cumbria County Council through this third iteration of the professional services framework. This opportunity is a great testament to the abilities of our locally-based team, which has delivered many exciting projects over the past two frameworks.”
