Our ecologists are gearing up for another busy survey season and would like to remind you that mid March marks the start of the Great Crested Newt (GCN) survey season.
The window for surveying these species is the smallest with only 3 months to carry out the work (mid March – Mid June) and often includes well-spaced repeat surveys.
Our team of professional ecologists are licensed to survey GCN and can advise and carry out all aspects of GCN conservation and protection through field surveys to mitigation work and habitat enhancement.
Jonathan Siberry, Ecologist from our Leeds team explains more in this short video.
