WYG has appointed Jeff Van Etten as Head of Geographical Information Systems.
Based in WYG’s Southampton office, Jeff will take the national lead, coordinating GIS services throughout the business, and serving clients from across the full spectrum of market sectors. Jeff will act as a focal point and provide governance and overview of technical aspects of GIS. This is to establish a consistent approach and also ensure innovation and development of the service is linked to WYG’s other digital offerings such as BIM and 3D modelling.
A leading professional with over 17 years’ experience in project management, Jeff develops and implements forward thinking GIS projects. He was formerly GIS Consultant at Savills (UK) Ltd where he established a GIS team, and has also worked as Corporate GIS Manager for both Borough of Poole Council and Mid Bedfordshire Council.
