On 25th May, the first LoCITY Annual Conference will gather 200 influential delegates at Guildhall, London, including Transport for London Commissioner Mike Brown and representatives from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, Innovate UK and Urban Transport Group.
In February, we announced the launch of the LoCITY programme to improve London air quality from traffic pollution, and our role as LoCITY Delivery Programme Manager.
In a recent announcement for bold plans to clean up London’s toxic air, the newly elected Mayor of London has confirmed that he would “continue the LoCITY programme working with manufacturers, operators and businesses to reduce emissions from HGVs and vans.”
You can follow #LoCITYUK on Twitter to find out what is happening during the Conference.
We will also publish a story to share the outcome of the discussions after the event.
