WYG has made three new appointments to its town planning teams in response to an expanding workload.
David Butcher (pictured) joins our Guildford team as an associate director. Previously at Persimmon Homes (South Coast) as a senior planning manager, he managed both large and small-scale development planning applications as well as managing consultant teams.
Andy Stallan, head of WYG’s Guildford team, said: “We are very pleased that David has joined us. His appointment further strengthens our planning team, especially at the more detailed and complex level of planning application and project management work.”
Jake Crompton joins our Manchester planning team as a senior planner. He was previously at Indigo Planning and has over three years' planning experience working on complex residential and commercial projects. Jake will largely work on residential projects on behalf of housebuilders and landowners, as well as for public body clients including the NHS and the Homes and Communities Agency.
Tom Collins (pictured) joins our Nottingham team as an associate director. Tom specialises in residential, regeneration and renewable energy planning work. Previously at Fisher German, he has 10 years’ planning experience, including acting as expert witness at public inquiries. Tom will be focussing on residential, commercial and mixed-use developments for private sector clients across the East Midlands.
Simon Chadwick, head of WYG’s northern planning teams, said: “We are delighted to welcome Tom and Jake to our team at a time when our workload in both the North West and the East Midlands continues to grow with particular regard to the expansion in our housing development capabilities in these areas.”
One of the top four planning consultancies in the UK, WYG has planning teams in 18 of its UK offices.
