Today at 11am we will be observing the two minutes’ silence commemorating Armistice Day.
Over the past two weeks leading to Remembrance Day, WYG employees around the UK have volunteered their time to raise money and awareness in support of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
Andrew Fotherby, Director, WYG, explains: “It matters to us because we have a strong bond with the Armed Forces and a long-standing history of working alongside service personnel in difficult conditions. Much of our work is also focused on making a positive impact on the living and working conditions, and welfare of service personnel and their families.”
