We are delighted to announce that WYG has successfully secured places on all lots within the Scotland Excel Engineering and Technical Consultancy Services Framework.
With offices in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, we are a multidisciplinary consultant offering services in engineering, planning, socio-economics and the environment.
The framework is currently entering its second term, having replaced the majority of individual council framework agreements. It has established itself as one of the three main procurement methods to access public sector opportunities in Scotland.
The four-year framework is now used by over 30 organisations including councils, government organisations and regional partnerships. It provides access to public sector opportunities across a number of disciplines including:
The framework is valued at £60 million over the four-year duration across all lots.
Mark Rinkus, Associate Director and Framework Manager commented: “I’m delighted with the result as we saw this as a ‘must-win opportunity’ as it provides a key building block in the development and growth of the Scottish team. It also allows us to cross sell our multidisciplinary offering and will support future work streams across Scotland.”
Gordon Buchan, Framework Director added: “This win clearly shows WYG is on the march in Scotland. We have secured excellent positions within the framework and look forward to developing new links with the public sector north of the Border. Our expert teams have gained access to all Lots within the wide framework and will help continue our expansion with our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.”
The submission drew on the collective experience of the UK-wide team, with each lot manager working together to share information and responses which ensured a consistent and well-worded message to our client.
