5 May 2016
Our transport planning experts will be exhibiting at the 4th annual Cycle City Active City conference at The Curve Theatre in Leicester, 19-20 May.
Colin Shields, WYG Director, will also be chairing a policy discussion in the main theatre and Joe Clarbour, WYG Associate Transport Planner, will be presenting a paper on “Why Cycling Trends Have Failed to Materialise in the UK” on Friday 20th May.
Cycle City Active City is both conference and exhibition, with plenary presentations from high-profile experts, from the UK and overseas, in cycling and walking policy, promotion and infrastructure, active place-making, public health, and positive urban design and development.
Our Leicester Office has been working with Leicester City Council for a number of years to deliver a wide range of projects, including Connecting Leicester, the City Centre Pedestrian Zone, Cultural Quarter Improvements and the Haymarket Bus Station.
On Stand C2 at the exhibition, our experts will also be on hand to answer your questions and showcase our experience on these prestigious schemes, as well as a number of other current cycling, walking and urban design projects we are working on elsewhere in the country.
Please contact Ed Ducker, on 0116 234 8174, or Joe Clarbour, on 0116 234 8152, to arrange a meeting.
