On 19th May, Graham Olver, WYG's Chief Operating Officer, will speak at a Major Projects Association seminar that will address the question: “What are the implications of mergers and acquisitions for the delivery of major projects?”
Entitled “The International Element of M&A: Bigger picture – small print”, Graham’s presentation looks at how to succeed in International M&A projects. What does it take to build a successful corporate M&A capability and who are the best people to have on your team? Starting with the similarities between delivering M&A and Major Projects and the skills that underpin both, Graham will look at what drives the decision to take an international M&A project forward and the life cycle of the process from both the Acquirer and Target perspective.
Graham has over 25 years’ international business and major joint venture/PPP, M&A and infrastructure project experience in over 40 countries (including power, transport, hospitals, schools, water and waste water). Previously he was Commercial and Operations Director with Skanska Infrastructure Development, a division of Skanska AB and has held senior commercial and legal Director positions at Thames Water, Thames Water International and ALSTOM. Graham is also Chairman of British Expertise and a barrister-at-law.
This half-day seminar takes place at Church House, Westminster, London, on Tuesday 19th May, from 9.00-13.30.
