If you’re dressing up as a bat for Halloween, you might want some reference for their actual sounds and behaviour before heading into the long night.
During a survey, our Ecology experts detected unusually busy echolocation signals from four common pipistrelle bats rummaging and socialising, gorging on insects in a feeding frenzy. The results are equally cool and creepy. Happy Halloween!
