We have recently expanded the geo-environmental capabilities of our Environment team in the South of England by welcoming Technical Director, Emma Arnold and Geotechnical Engineer, Caroline Anderson.
Emma joins WYG’s London office and will lead the Merger and Acquisition / Environmental Due Diligence team, which focuses on helping the property and financial sector manage environmental, social, and governance risks across the lifetime of their investments.
With over 20 years’ experience in the global environmental due diligence sector, she has worked with leading institutional investment and private equity firms, as well as corporate clients and strategic land developers. Emma joins from ERM where she worked in Mergers and Acquisitions and holds additional experience working with corporate clients at a strategic level to assess environmental risks in advance of global expansion or site closure and disposal.
Caroline has joined WYG to develop its Southampton office, providing ground investigation and geo-environmental consultancy services for both commercial and private sector clients in the Southampton region. Prior to joining WYG, Caroline managed residential and commercial ground investigations across multiple regions at Geotechnical and Environmental Associates (GEA) Limited.
Michael Boyd, Head of Geo-Environment at WYG, commented:
“Both Emma and Caroline are key strategic additions to help meet our ambitious growth plans for our Geo-Environment team. Emma’s global breadth of expertise working across multiple sectors will be invaluable in leading our already growing Environmental Due Diligence Team, while Caroline will lead on increasing our footprint in the South of England, developing a team in a region we have been targeting for growth."
