On 26 and 27 November 2014 the Homes exhibition at the Olympia, London, brought together housing professionals and key experts from the industry to network and look at what the future holds for the residential market.
Exhibiting at Stand H164, WYG was represented by a large team of experts who advised delegates on the wide range of services we provide to the thriving residential and social housing markets. This includes planning, environment and asbestos as well as a full range of asset, cost and project management services.
Not everybody who attended the event will realise that our involvement in this sector is not a new venture for WYG. In fact we have been supporting clients in this field since the start of the social housing movement in the early 1970’s. The range of services we provide has steadily increased during this time, however, and, thanks to our appointment as a Fusion21 framework supplier, procuring our services has never been easier.
One of our experts who attended both days of the exhibition was Nathan Holloway, Head of Management Services at WYG: “There was a real buzz to this event. It was great to talk to so many people who share our enthusiasm for the sector. Asset creation and management are at the heart of what we do as a company and translating that into providing people with places that they are happy to call home means we are able to make a real difference to not only our clients but the end users that they serve.”
Our business card exchange competition also attracted a lot of visitors. Everyone left with a great prize, including our Kindle top prize for one lucky participant.
