Global quality assurance firm DNV GL has renewed three major certifications for WYG. Renewing these standards cements our team’s ability to manage quality and environmental management systems, in addition to applying appropriate health and safety.
The renewed certifications concern the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards, encompassing the following:
Douglas McCormick, CEO, WYG, said: “Retaining these certifications is vital for us to assure our partners and clients that WYG consistently maintains all the high standards required and expected of a multidisciplinary consultancy in the professional realm. It massively improves a firm’s credibility when bidding for work where these qualifications are often mandated today.”
All WYG offices are visited as part of a rolling programme where external auditors review office practices and ways of working against the various standards. DNV also audits the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Management System aligned to WYG’s governance model.
Michael Allen, Director of Group Security, SHEQ, WYG, said: “This result was by far the best our company has achieved to date and can be attributed to the hard work and continued professionalism of many individuals at all levels across the Group."
