WYG planners have secured permission for an extensive regeneration project in Littleport, Cambridgeshire that will bring £41 million of investment to the area.
The campus will provide a secondary school, special educational needs and primary schools and a new community sports centre. Our planners worked for Morgan Sindall on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council and were responsible for:
WYG engaged widely with a variety of stakeholders, including a presentation to the Quality Panel and detailed discussions on planning conditions, before permission was granted.
Lisa Skinner, WYG Planning Director, spoke on behalf of the client at the planning committee meeting at which councillors praised the significant efforts made to work with the community, as well as a perfect submission.
Following the meeting, Lisa said: “We are very proud to have worked on such an ambitious regeneration project.”
