No new home is complete without an official warming celebration. This is exactly what WYG did last night for the official opening of its new flagship London office, sharing the “New View” from Angel Court with over a hundred guests. WYG’s Chief Executive Officer, Douglas McCormick, explained the move: “By repositioning ourselves in the heart of the City, we are delighted to now be so close to so many of our valued clients”.
WYG’s Chairman, Jeremy Beeton, opened the evening with an address in which he praised the “hugely talented people working and delivering critical work on behalf of WYG for clients across the globe.”
Douglas McCormick further echoed this point, stressing that “the work we deliver continues to be exceptional, in both the public and private sector, and makes a genuine difference to people worldwide.”
Before inviting everyone to celebrate the evening, he added: “Since arriving as Chief Executive Officer five months ago, I have identified a number of areas for action and growth. I am genuinely excited about the prospects for our business, what we can achieve and about the opportunities we are seeing.”
Whilst the conversation and drinks flowed, Harpist Melissa Adriana Parmer created the perfect atmosphere to help everybody enjoy the evening, giving a soundtrack to the stunning scenes across London that can only be fully appreciated standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The positivity for the future of WYG was brimming throughout the evening as we committed to helping our London clients fulfil their project ambitions. We look forward to welcoming them back to Angel Court soon.
