WYG has sponsored the residential category at this year’s RICS Awards for both the South West of England and London regions. The London event took place at on 4th May. Dave Corbin, WYG Director, presented the award for the South West at the Marriott Hotel in Bristol on the 18th May, with WYG Director, Mark Robinson acting as the Judges Chairman for the South West region.
The RICS Awards showcase the achievements of the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, property, construction and the environment. Across eight categories, projects from around UK are assessed on their success as development projects and on their wider resonance in terms of innovation, sustainability, local impact and stakeholder satisfaction.
The residential category shortlist includes new builds and conversions and ranges from single buildings to major development schemes. All shortlisted projects will also go forward for the Project of the Year, awarded to the project that is judged to have excelled in any of the main categories.
Nathan Holloway, WYG Head of Management Services, who presented the award in London to the Alpine Place team said: “These prestigious awards are a highlight of the year for property and construction professionals. All the shortlisted projects are outstanding and we are delighted to be able to support this award.”
