Prior to the conference, Graham gave an interview for the Croatian Real Estate Newsletter about WYG’s involvement in the successful urban regeneration project, Liverpool Waters.
In the interview, Graham discussed WYG’s responsibilities and lessons learned from the Liverpool Waters project that could be applied to new projects in Croatia. He also provided comment on a number of EU funded projects in Croatia that WYG have been involved with.
He said: ‘WYG were responsible for completing and managing the planning application on behalf of the developer, Peel Holdings. We also provided significant technical input in preparing the Environmental Impact Assessment that accompanied the planning application.’
He added: ‘This was a significant challenge as we had to assess the potential environmental impacts over a 30 year period when technology and environmental conditions can change dramatically in such a short space of time.’
