Paul Hamer, Chief Executive Officer of WYG Group has been elected Vice-Chairman of the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and will take office on 1 January 2011.
Paul Hamer joined WYG in July 2008 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in March 2009. Previously he was Managing Director of VT Nuclear Services, part of the VT Group Plc and has also held several senior executive positions in the contracting, nuclear, oil, chemical and petrochemical sectors.
Nelson Ogunshakin, ACE Chief Executive said: “This is great news for ACE and we look forward to working with Paul over the coming year. He has a great deal of experience across the industry and will be an excellent addition to our team.”

Paul Hamer joins Chris Cole as the two new vice chairmen of ACE, while Graham Nicholson has been elected as chairman.
