The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has presented WYG its eighth gold award at yesterday’s (16 May) Occupational Health and Safety awards ceremony.
Multi-disciplinary consultancy WYG was recognised for the high standards in health and safety the business follows and its continuing commitment to the very highest of standards in health and safety management, processes and working practices.
Held at the Birmingham NEC and sponsored by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), the event has been recognising health and safety success since 1956.
Stuart Spooner, Group Health and Safety Director, WYG said: “We are delighted to be receiving our eighth gold award which demonstrates the strict criteria the business is meeting, not only in our overall risk management and project controls, but also our overarching health and safety management systems, including important practices such as strong leadership and workforce engagement.
“The senior management team continues to challenge the business to achieve even higher standards of health and safety across the Group and I look forward to the further challenges set this year as we push for our ninth consecutive award.”
The event had another record number of entries for the RoSPA Awards.
