Global consultancy, WYG, is providing technical assistance on a €2m employment project to promote registered employment in Turkey.
The award-winning consultancy has begun work on the project which includes implementation of training at national and regional levels, development of cooperation models, as well as helping to increase the capacity of the Social Security Institution (SSI) – a Social Security Reform combining three existing institutions created to streamline the system and diminish the burden of social security on the economy.
As part of the project WYG is also working with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security - a government ministry office responsible for labour and social security affairs in Turkey.

The project was awarded by Central Finance and Contract Unit, a central unit that takes responsibility for EU funded programmes in Turkey and co-financed by the European Union and Republic of Turkey, it is expected to last up to two years.
