WYG is celebrating as the global consultancy passes the pre-qualification process (PQQ) for the national renewables energy company Banks Renewables Limited.
Projects that could be included in the framework range from wind farms to combined heat and power plants, at a local and national scale. WYG’s approved disciplines include planning, ecology, ground investigation, acoustics and transport planning.
John Dickinson, Regional Director, WYG said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as one of Banks Renewables approved suppliers and we look forward to utilising our experience of the renewable energy sector to assist in the delivery of projects for Banks in the near future”
WYG has recently celebrated 10 years of providing planning and design advice to private and public sector clients nationwide. WYG’s planning experience covers a wide breadth of specialisms including renewable energy, retail, commercial, residential and minerals and waste.
WYG has recently developed the infrastructure and sustainability strategy for Scotland’s largest sustainable new town, Chapelton of Elsick, and secured planning permission for a 13-turbine wind farm in Maesgwyn, Wales.
