WYG’s property and construction consultants based in Cardiff are celebrating St David’s Day by holding an opening ceremony for a team of planning and design experts who are moving into the Longcross Court office, Newport Road.
The office move completes a strategic objective which now brings a number of services into one building. On the day, the award-winning consultancy will be hosting drinks and Welsh cuisine as a combination of clients and employees celebrate the patron saint of Wales.
Paul Morgan, Director of WYG, said: “As an international consultant, we’re working in over 40 countries. Where possible, we always try to support our regional heritage and it is perfect that we can celebrate our good news alongside St David’s Day.
“Working out of the Cardiff office we now have a number of services that we offer including; management services, geo-environmental and ecology services, transport planning, engineering services and planning & design.”
Over the 23 years the company has been in Wales they have worked on several significant local projects from a new Optometry & Visual Science building for the University of Wales, to working with Her Majesty’s Court service for over six years providing professional estates, project management and design services.
The consultancy is also providing all the planning input, co-ordinating EIA and providing expert witness services at the forthcoming planning inquiry for Western Power Distribution on the Llanishen Reservoir, Cardiff.
