Kyla is a development economist with nearly 10 years of experience in research and evaluation. She has a wealth of practical knowledge in quasi-experimental design, mixed method approaches, econometric analysis, and evaluating adaptive programmes, with experience across Africa, Asia, and MENA, including FCAS countries.
Kyla is experienced in working on UK Department for International Development (DFID) and Foreign and Commonwealth (FCO) funded projects. She has a wide range of sectoral experience including economic development, agricultural value chains, M4P, climate change, and Results-Based Aid (RBA) projects.
She has extensive experience living and working in international and multicultural environments, particularly in developing countries and FCAS contexts.
Kyla is currently the Fund and Thematic Evaluation Deputy of the evaluation and learning function of the Prosperity Fund – a cross-government £1.2 billion aid fund. Its primary objective is to alleviate poverty and foster growth in middle income countries where around 70% of the world’s poor live.
