This pre-application consultation relates to the intention of the Welsh Ministers to submit to the local planning authority (the Vale of Glamorgan Council) a hybrid planning application seeking permission for the following:
The Vale of Glamorgan Council Local Development Plan (2011 to 2026) allocates 305 ha land at St Athan under Policies MG9(3), MG10 and SP2(2) as part of the St Athan – Cardiff Airport Enterprise Zone for Class B1, B2 and B8 use. The application site falls within this strategic employment allocation and comprises 8.15 ha of previously developed rough-grass land and areas of hardstanding lying between Aston Martin Lagonda and taxiway Echo, known locally known as ‘Keithrow’.
