Graham Hale Associate Planner

Graham provides planning consultancy advice to clients across Cumbria, south west Scotland and northern Lancashire for a wide mix of clients and a variety of proposals.

His experience includes development management (urban and rural), local plans, nationally significant infrastructure projects and infrastructure planning.  He is also well versed on all types of appeals including examinations-in-public, public inquiries (S.78 and Local Plans) and informal hearings, plus written representation appeals.  

Graham’s work includes:

  • North West Coastal Connections Project - responding to statutory consultations carried out by National Grid for this Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP).
  • Barrow Borough Council - Dalton Lane, Barrow-in-Furness  - Development Management Case Officer
  • Junction 44, North Carlisle - advice to Cumbria County Council for a proposed school site on the northern edge of Carlisle
  • Dunedin Properties Ltd – successfully securing planning permission for changes of use
