Lindsay Whitley Director - Urban Design

Lindsay is both an urban designer/masterplanner and a chartered town planner. She has wide ranging experience including undertaking urban design appraisals and development frameworks, the masterplanning of sites from small to large, heritage and conservation, delivering design training, and facilitation at engagement/consultation events.

Lindsay’s experience as both a public and private practitioner underpins a strong understanding of the planning system and the importance of communicating and achieving high quality design.  Lindsay has an active participation within the urban design agenda, previously chairing the RTPI NW, she sits on the RTPI Partnership Board for University of Liverpool, acts as an external examiner for Sheffield Hallam University, and has delivered teaching sessions as part of the Urban Design and International Planning MSc programme at the University of Manchester.

  • East Lancashire Paper Mill Residential Planning Application, Bury (Homes England)
