Mark Rinkus Associate Director - Transport Planning

Mark is the technical lead for our transport business in Scotland. He undertakes the identification, procurement and successful delivery of Scottish Transport Planning studies and the development of new and existing client relationships.

With extensive experience in the public sector market, he provides a wide range of transport planning capability delivering client centric, cost effective pre-planning and development planning, public realm and, active travel studies.

Mark has wide-ranging experience developed over nearly two decades of market engagement in both private and public sector markets, public hearings and, major scheme appraisals. He also has a flare for innovative solutions.

Mark provides a supporting role in projects working with colleagues across our northern offices and with our valued external partners including Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Engagement Specialists and Freelance graphic designers. He has recently been involved with to following projects:

  • George Street and First New Town Concept to Preliminary Design (RIBA 1-3) for City of Edinburgh Council.
  • Melville Crescent Concept to Detailed Design (RIBA 1-4) for City of Edinburgh Council.
  • Glasgow Councils Couth City Way Sustrans Living Streets Plus Active travel design
