Having submitted the planning application for a major mixed-use as part of St. Modwen’s multi-million-pound redevelopment scheme in Farnborough our team in Guildford also organised and held the public exhibition. The successful exhibition enabled local people and businesses to have their say on the scheme, a development on the land between Kingsmead and Queensmead which includes;
Shops on the ground floor and leisure on the first floor;
68 apartments over eight floors;
A communal garden for the new apartments;
58 car parking spaces, and bike stands for 118 bikes, on the third floor - accessed through the existing Kingsmead multi storey car park;
A bridge link to the previously completed car park on the roof of the adjoining Block 2.
The scheme designed by architects Lyons Sleeman Hoare was approved in early 2018 and will also provide a contribution to affordable housing and public open space.
